Newport skatepark, famed for having the exact same riding surface as THE MOON and being darker and dustier than THE SARLACC PIT is undergoing some improvements. Details are sketchy at the moment with reports stating that the park is currently only 1/4 open. Keep your eyes on CSC for more details.
Long-time Winter rain haven Hanger 81 (see spot guide for directions) is closing down.
In memory of many ‘lips 2 da floor‘ style slide-outs on the death-trap ice-rink surface, CSC are getting in some mega sessions in the last few weeks of October.
It could shut in November, or it might just eek out the few cold months until the New Year…but the bottom line is it’s going, so get yer sessions in NOW!
No word on what’s happening to the ramps yet…would be good if something sensible happened to them so if anyone has any thoughts, post ‘em up.
