How badass is this?
Posted in Cardiff skateboarding videos with tags Bastardside, Cardiff, Liverpool, New Bird, Scousers, skateboard, Wales on May 8, 2012 by Jim OLiverpool’s New Bird park is basically what Bastardside could be if Cardiff skaters had big scouser bollocks and all got together to build it.
Say ‘I’ve got massive bollocks’ in the comments below if you’d be prepared to help build Bastardside into a mighty concrete paradise.
If we build it ourselves, we won’t have to send the cream of young Welsh skateboard talent to the home of perms and car theft in order to film banging mini edits like this:
Happy Birthday Dykey
Posted in Cardiff skateboarding videos with tags Cardiff, crayon, CSC, dykey, skateboard, skateboarding, Wales on January 27, 2012 by Jim OIf you weren’t at Dykey’s flat for his birthday party you won’t have seen Pirate Man’s awesome ‘Happy Birthday Dykey’ edit. THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!
Enjoy.
Cardifferent/Crayon skateboards collaboration coming up…
Posted in General skateboarding with tags Cardiff, Cardifferent, crayon, fashion, skateboard, Wales on September 19, 2011 by Jim OSeems like a good idea to combine the creative muscle behind two of Cardiff’s best skate/street brands. Not sure exactly what they’ve got planned but it should be good.
Weirdly I had the idea of doing a ‘Cardiffornia’ CSC tee-shirt but instead of the Hollister style vibe I was thinking raw 80s neon and palm trees…guess that idea’s dead in the water now. New CSC tees coming soon though…watch this space!

CSC Go Skate Day comp winner!
Posted in General skateboarding with tags Bakery, Cardiff, CSC, Go Skate Day, skateboard, Wales on July 25, 2011 by Jim O
As the only person who sent in an edit of Go Skate Day, James Davies romped home to victory and picked up a new deck and wheels from City Surf on Saturday.
New Cardiff brand Bakery also sent a fat stack of stickers for him…big thanks to them! Good to see more people in Cardiff doing stuff. Check out Bakery here.
It’s here! It’s here! Solar Eclipse is here! Full vid now online.
Posted in Cardiff skateboarding videos with tags beast, Cardiff, Conor, John Williams, Lil Jamie, Louis Curtis, Matt Hall, skateboard, Zak King on March 15, 2011 by Jim OTrix posted up Louis’s section earlier in the week and Zak King’s has done the rounds on Facebook a bit, but here’s the full deal featuring parts from just about every Cardiff skater under the age of 18. Full sections from Matt Hall (good taste in t-shirts!), Zak King, Louis Curtis, Beast, Lil Jamie and John Williams. Yes there’s Conor footage too.
Could Louis Curtis be the next Dykey? Hopefully not…but I think he’s definitely the next Nick Richards…just needs to work on being more of a bastard.
It’s on Mpora, so we can’t embed but click the screenshot below to view!
Hereford comp
Posted in General skateboarding with tags Cardiff, CSC, hereford, skate comp, skateboard, Wales on April 28, 2010 by Jim OEven though we all love skating Cardiff better than skating anywhere else, sometimes it’s nice to broaden your horizons and explore what the rest of the world has to offer. CSC members have been as far afield as Newport, Bridgend and Gimber’s motors in Penarth in search of skate thrills, and this weekend is a prime opportunity to go even further.
Freestyle skate store are putting on a skate comp at Hereford skatepark. There are prizes, chuck-outs and even a demo according to the poster, although that will probably just consist of Grim riding round on his fixie with his shirt off.

Starts at around 1pm.
One Percenters blog featuring CSC
Posted in General skateboarding with tags CSC, one percenters, skateboard on November 10, 2009 by Jim O
Check out the CSC skateboard collection which is deep inside the CSC HQ in the bad part of town.
Why not pick up a One Percenters tee while you’re there? Because there’s NONE LEFT that’s why. You can’t just buy that shit whenever you feel like it…you need to queue up outside Rod’s house with all those Japanese sneaker heads.
War at the Welsh

Oh yeah…here’s that Luan de Oliveira part you might have heard about.
