If you weren’t at Dykey’s flat for his birthday party you won’t have seen Pirate Man’s awesome ‘Happy Birthday Dykey’ edit. THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!
Enjoy.

Seems like a good idea to combine the creative muscle behind two of Cardiff’s best skate/street brands. Not sure exactly what they’ve got planned but it should be good.
Weirdly I had the idea of doing a ‘Cardiffornia’ CSC tee-shirt but instead of the Hollister style vibe I was thinking raw 80s neon and palm trees…guess that idea’s dead in the water now. New CSC tees coming soon though…watch this space!

As the only person who sent in an edit of Go Skate Day, James Davies romped home to victory and picked up a new deck and wheels from City Surf on Saturday.
New Cardiff brand Bakery also sent a fat stack of stickers for him…big thanks to them! Good to see more people in Cardiff doing stuff. Check out Bakery here.
Trix posted up Louis’s section earlier in the week and Zak King’s has done the rounds on Facebook a bit, but here’s the full deal featuring parts from just about every Cardiff skater under the age of 18. Full sections from Matt Hall (good taste in t-shirts!), Zak King, Louis Curtis, Beast, Lil Jamie and John Williams. Yes there’s Conor footage too.
Could Louis Curtis be the next Dykey? Hopefully not…but I think he’s definitely the next Nick Richards…just needs to work on being more of a bastard.
It’s on Mpora, so we can’t embed but click the screenshot below to view!
Even though we all love skating Cardiff better than skating anywhere else, sometimes it’s nice to broaden your horizons and explore what the rest of the world has to offer. CSC members have been as far afield as Newport, Bridgend and Gimber’s motors in Penarth in search of skate thrills, and this weekend is a prime opportunity to go even further.
Freestyle skate store are putting on a skate comp at Hereford skatepark. There are prizes, chuck-outs and even a demo according to the poster, although that will probably just consist of Grim riding round on his fixie with his shirt off.

Starts at around 1pm.
Check out the CSC skateboard collection which is deep inside the CSC HQ in the bad part of town.
Why not pick up a One Percenters tee while you’re there? Because there’s NONE LEFT that’s why. You can’t just buy that shit whenever you feel like it…you need to queue up outside Rod’s house with all those Japanese sneaker heads.
Only two up tonight. Ryan and Chris Jones. We’ll try and run it at Welsh from 7…but they might still be freaking out about pig flu down there.
Oh yeah…here’s that Luan de Oliveira part you might have heard about.

Yet another Buffalo hosted skate premiere…this time it’s Hologram supremo Nick’s masterpiece that will be the focus of the evening. Look out for CSC guest appearances both in the vid and on the night.
